The Lodge

Rooms 6 to 8 are in The Lodge which was originally constructed in 1865 as Forester’s Hall and the bedrooms retain many heritage features.

Lodge Rooms

Room 6

Room 6 is halfway up the stairs, and one of our most spacious rooms with a super-king bed, a seating area, a large armoire style wardrobe and French Doors leading to a Juliette balcony that opens to a view of our terrace and Cowes Harbour in the background. French Doors lead into an oversized bathroom featuring a free-standing bathtub, separate walk-in shower and a double wash-hand basin.

Room 7

Room 7 in The Lodge is further up the stairs from Room 6. It’s a good size room with a super-king bed that can also be made up as a twin. The room has a hardwood floor, a great walk-in shower and a seating area for two. The windows face our terrace and provide a terrific view of Cowes Harbour.

Room 8

Room 8 is a smaller room, next door to Room 7, with a king bed and a large bathroom including a free-standing bathtub separate from the shower. The room also features a natural wood-stained floor, a comfy chair and adjacent lamp, plus a large writing desk. The room still maintains some of the Forester’s Hall unique heritage elements, but that also restricts any view from this room.
