Bookings

The Terms and Conditions detailed below apply to all bookings whether made online at www.forestershall.com, by telephone or in person. They equally apply to any bookings made through third parties, in addition to any Terms and Conditions the third party may impose. When you make a booking, your contract (which includes these Terms and Conditions) will be with FH Operations Limited. All rates are subject to availability; all bookings are taken at the discretion of Foresters Hall. Foresters Hall has a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to book a hotel room. If you arrive at the hotel and are under 18 years of age you will not be permitted to stay alone. We may require photo ID as proof of age.

Group Bookings & Events Bookings

Should you be making a Group Booking for four or more rooms or making a reservation during a key events (Events Bookings) you are required to pay the full amount for the whole reservation up front to confirm the reservation. This booking deposit is non-refundable upon cancellation at any time from the point of confirming the reservation through payment of the full amount up front. Group Bookings and Events Bookings are available on a first-come-first-served basis and require the full amount payable to confirm the reservation with Foresters Hall; any provisional bookings of these types are at the Foresters Hall’s discretion.

Payment

We require card details upon making a room reservation with us. We accept all credit cards.

Please note: Payment for the balance, plus any extras, items used in the room or items taken away from the room, is due on departure from the hotel.

Cancellations

By Foresters Hall

Full refund payable in the event that Foresters Hall cancels your booking at any time for any reason including Force Majeure.

By Guest

We currently have a fourteen day cancellation on direct room bookings (not including group bookings or special events).

Email reception@forestershall.com if you need to amend your stay.

Lost Keys

A charge of £250 will be taken in the event of a lost key. This covers the change of lock, key fob and the cost of a new key.

Lost Property

We are more than happy to post any lost items subject to the costs of postage.

Damages

We reserve the right to charge your credit or debit card for any damage done to your room during your stay or for any items that are missing when you leave.

Force Majeure

Foresters Hall cannot accept responsibility or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of the contract is prevented or affected by reason of circumstances which amount to “force majeure”. Circumstances amounting to “force majeure” include any event which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such circumstances include the destruction or damage of your accommodation (which cannot reasonably be remedied to a satisfactory standard before the start of your stay) through fire, flood, explosion, storm or other weather damage, break-in, criminal damage, riots or civil strife, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, war or threat of war, actual or threatened terrorist activity, epidemic, pandemic, loss of any key member of staff and all similar situations beyond our control.

Smoking policy

No smoking of any kind including e-cigarettes is permitted on hotel property, including both indoors in the hotel or outdoors on our terrace or in our garden

Liability of Foresters Hall

Foresters Hall, its servants and/or agents shall not be liable to any guest for any loss, damage or injury suffered by them or their property, howsoever caused, save in respect of death or personal injury to guest to the extent caused by the negligence of Foresters Hall, its servants and/or agents.

Invalidity & Waiver

If any of these Terms is found by a court or regulatory body to be invalid or unenforceable, all other provisions shall continue to apply to the maximum extent legally permitted. No waiver of any of these Terms & Conditions shall be effective unless made in writing by Foresters Hall and signed by a Director. No waiver (or non-enforcement) shall be construed as a waiver or any subsequent breach.

Interpretation of the Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with English law. All guests agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
