TERMS & CONDITIONS
The terms and conditions detailed below apply to all bookings whether made online a www.northhousecowes.co.uk or made by telephone or in person. When you make a booking, your contract (which includes these terms and conditions) will be with North House. All rates are subject to availability, all bookings are taken at the discretion of North House. North House has a minimum age requirement of 18 years old for booking a hotel room. If you arrive at the hotel and are under 18 years of age you will not be permitted to stay alone. We may require photo ID as proof of age.
We require 1 nights stay as a deposit, this can be paid via debit or credit card including your 3 digit security code. We accept American Express, MasterCard, Maestro, Visa & Visa Delta.
Please note: Payment for the balance, plus any extras, is due on departure from the hotel and can also be made by North House gift vouchers.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Check in is from 3pm on the day of your stay and departure from 12pm. Early check in and late check outs are available depending on room availability - enquire on booking.
What happens if you need to cancel?
Reservations must be cancelled up to 72 hours before the booking in order to avoid a charge for the full stay. If you cancel within the 72 hours we will try to resell your room and if we do then we will not charge you. However, if we cannot sell it within that time then we will unfortunately need to charge you.
CANCELLATION BY NORTH HOUSE
Very occasionally, we may have to cancel your booking. We will tell you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative accommodation of the same standard, or higher, or offer a full refund. We regret we cannot pay compensation or any reimbursement of any expenses or costs you may incur as a result of any such cancellation or change.
LOSS OR DAMAGE
Any loss or damage to items listed within the house inventory will be charged as required. The hotel reserves the right to charge the full amount for reinstatement of items found to have gone missing or to have broken.
North House cannot accept responsibility or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of the contract is prevented or affected by reason of circumstances which amount to “force majeure”. Circumstances amounting to “force majeure” include any event which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such circumstances include the destruction or damage of your accommodation (which cannot reasonably be remedied to a satisfactory standard before the start of your stay) through fire, flood, explosion, storm or other weather damage, break-in, criminal damage, riots or civil strife, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, war or threat of war, actual or threatened terrorist activity, epidemic and all similar situations beyond our control.
